backstory
Although Quanta may have been born with her special abilities, they did not start to fully manifest into recently in her adult life, which she used to foster a career as one of the world's foremost authorities on quantum mechanics (modestly hiding her full abilities in the process). As she began to be overwhelmed by level of information she received and her ability to interact with and influence them, she began to become more fearful of the possibility of her losing control and causing damage to the space-time continuum or severely warping reality. In order to help her gather a further understanding and control of powers and the temptation to use them improperly, she joined The New Knights for training and to put her abilities to good use.
